 Jukurrpa meldet sich aus dem Sommer-Schlaf zurück mit einigen Photos vom Sommerfest der Silver-Club-Mitglieder im deutschen Rheinbach. Wie der Name schon sagt, im Silver-Club finden sich die Katzenzüchter und –liebhaber von silbernen und goldenen Perser- und Exotic-Shorthairkatzen zusammen. Der Sommerfest wird all zwei Jahre von der Präsidentin des Clubs Simone Peters organisiert. So gesehen hatten wir auch etwas Glück, dass wir genau in dem Jahr im Siver-Club aufgenommen wurden, in dem das Fest statt findet. Nicht jeden Tag trifft man viele „silber“ und „golden“ Züchter an einen Ort.
Wir hatten Freude neue Bekanntschaften zu schliessen und alte Bekannte wieder zu sehen. Wir hatten riesigen Spass bei Tombola. Wir konnten ein reichhaltiges chinesisches Buffet geniessen und anschliessend beim Licht der Finnen-Kerzen und einem Glas Wein gemütlich unsere Stories mit Gleichgesinnten teilen.

| Last weeks we had absolutely no time to spend on our site. On weekends I had to travel as a student judge to different cat shows here in Switzerland and abroad.
But today we want to share the news which is most important to us. The cat show in the Swiss village Kaltbrunn on April 10, 2010 became remarkable for the Jukurrpa family:
Quirita Amarco achieved the title SUPREME CHAMPION.
Somewhere deep inside we always hoped to have such a success. However at the beginning of the show carrier of Quirita it was quite difficult to imagine that.
After 12 exhibitions in 2 countries (with just one failure) Quirita received all certificates required for FIFe Supreme Champion title. Coming shows Quirita will attend in class 1. |

The long way to become a student judge |

It took quite a long time t fulfil all the requirements set by the FIFe and to complete the preparation for the entrance examination, which I should have passed to become a student judge. Last Friday was the day when I wrote the test. On Saturday, 6th February 2010, we had a great reason to celebrate: the president of the FFH announced that I did passed the entrance examination with 294 of the 296 possible points. Well, now I’m facing another long way as a student judge in categories I and II. I’m happy… Next days we will celebrate this good news with our friends. |
