The coat of a Persian cat is very dense and long - excellent dust wiper. After some time the coat becomes greasy. Because of hormones the coat on the tail and behind the ears cause the most problems. Brushing and powdering mostly will not solve the problem. Therefore a Persian cat should be bathed from time to time.
